A short list of movies about wine:

Falcon Crest, U.S.A. 1981-1990: A CBS primetime  soap opera, set in the fictional Tuscany Valley of California, about the fictional Falcon Crest winery and the family who owns it. The series was very  popular, and a wine named Falcon Crest even went on the market.

A Walk in the Clouds (1995)- After returning from the war, Paul and a young Hispanic-American woman meet on a bus as she's headed home from college to help with the grape harvest and face   her Old-World domineering dad. The woman has not married but is pregnant and   thinks her father is going to kill her. Paul proposes to pose as her husband to   help her face her father. When their passion for each other is finally ignited  and explodes, they realize they must overcome all odds to be together (from   Movieweb)

French Kiss, 1995. Meg Ryan and Kevin Kline act in this romantic comedy. Kline's character wants  to have his own vineyard since he comes from a family of winemakers. The  character has even made his own aroma sampling kit.

Sideways, 2004: A comedy/drama film, directed by   Alexander Payne, with the tagline: In Search of Wine; in Search of Women; in  Search of Themselves, in which wine plays a central role.

Mondovino, U.S.A./France 2004: A   documentary film directed by American film maker, Jonathan Nossiter, explaining   the impact of globalization on the various wine-producing regions.

A Good Year, U.S.A. 2006 Romantic Comedy / Drama   directed by Ridley Scott, with Russell Crowe. A British investment broker   inherits his uncle's chateau and vineyard in Provence, where he spent much of   his childhood. He discovers a new laid-back lifestyle as he tries to renovate   the estate to be sold.

Bottle Shock, USA 2008,story  about the birth of the Napa  wine industry.

The Judgement of Paris, USA 2008: story based on journalist's account of the  Paris Wine Tasting of 1976.

Merlove

Big Wine Adventure, UK 2006-7:  "Wine ponce" Oz Clark tries to teach motor head James May about wine.  The first series saw them travelling in a classic Jaguar through the wine  regions of France and the second series saw them in a recreational vehicle  travelling through California.
